Recron^® Superdye fibre is produced with modified polymer enabling it to be dyed with cationic dyes which are known for bright & brilliant shades. Recron^® Superdye fibre can be dyed at a significantly lower temperature and its rate of dyeing is much faster than regular polyester staple fibre when dyed with disperse dyes, leading to cost saving. Dyeing Advantage Recron^® Superdye has undergone a change during polymerization to introduce anionic groups that regular polyester fibre don’t have. Due to the presence of these anionic groups, it can be dyed with cationic dyes with bright and brilliant colours. However, this fibre can also be dyed with disperse colours.

When Recron^® Superdye and regular polyester fibres are dyed together with cationic dyes, regular polyester fibre does not pick-up any dye and remains white. Whereas, both the fibres pick-up dye when dyed together with disperse dyes, but with different depth of colours.

Recron^® Superdye is produced with special process which results in modified molecular structure resulting in lower glass transition temperature as compare to regular polyester fibre. This facilitates increased rate of dye diffusion in the fibre at a lower temperature.
